Hi Alan, I’m sorry you are having these problems. Have you tried using a different port? Could there possibly be a conflict with another program? Also, whAt does it say when you try to connect through your local network? Try this test page as well. Good luck I hope some of this helps. If not I will be happy to try and help further. Just let me know.

I forwarded the port just fine but mine still says it can’t connect on my phone. I have a static ip too for the host pc. Any suggestions? I’m familiar with port forwarding too because I have to use it for my ventrilo server.

I am guessing your problem is with port forwarding. Try going here > http://portforward.com/ and following the directions for your router to forward port 5900. I also found this page > http://www.realvnc.com/support/portforward.html pretty helpful. Once I was able to log on to the router and forward the port I haven’t had any problems. Best of luck!
